PACE Property has worked with Arqus Design and FDC Construction on an extensive external refurbishment which has dramatically improved the look, feel and presence of this building.
88 Leichhardt Street makes up a large corner site with frontage to Leichhardt Street and Fortescue Street, within short distance to Central Station. Representing a prime development site for the future, the current improvements comprise a 2 level office building (total 3,000 sq m) with basement car park built in the early 1970’s.
Despite the age of the building, it remains in good condition and for the last several years has been home to Qld Government Department of Public Works. The basement carpark is operated by Wilson Car Parking.
The large floor plates of circa 1,500 sq m will further set this building apart when compared to the local and CBD office competition.
Working in conjunction with PACE are Ray White and CBRE on the leasing of this project.
The external refurbishment has recently been completed with internal refurbishment works now underway.
